Bridget Dale, Treasurer 2017-2019

Bridget Dale is honored and excited to serve on the Board of Directors as the Treasurer for the 2017-2019 league years, and looks forward to continuing to grow the organization financially through sustainable strategy efforts. She currently serves as the Treasurer and has held a variety of board positions since joining the league in 2010. These positions include AVP of Finance, Secretary, and Diversity Advisory. In addition she has also served as the Project Evaluation Chair, Finance CMTE member, Fundraising TOAK member, and also on the Community Done in a Day Committee.

Her favorite memory about being in the league thus far, was serving on the Two of a Kind Gala Planning Committee, for it was during her first year as an active member, that she had the opportunity to meet and work with some great ladies and friends. They had an awesome time planning it, and an even better time enjoying all of our hard work that evening!!

Women’s Equality Day – August 26, 2017

The Junior League of Louisville is a proud sponsor of this years Women’s Equality Day on August 26, 2017 presented by the League of Women Voters of Louisville!

On Election Day in 1920, millions of American women exercised their right to vote for the first time. It took activists and reformers nearly 100 years to win that right, and the campaign was not easy: Disagreements over strategy threatened to cripple the movement more than once. But on August 26, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the Constitution was finally ratified, enfranchising all American women and declaring for the first time that they, like men, deserve all the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.

When: Saturday, August 26, 2017, 10:00am – 12:00pm

Where: Frazier History Museum, 829 West Main Street

What: Honoring the 97th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, when women won the right to vote. FREE and open to the public. Music & Refreshments.

Welcome: Dee Pregliasco,

President, League of Women Voters of Louisville

Guest Speaker: Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky Secretary of State
